How to update chrome

On Computer:

Usually, updates occurs in the background when you shut and reopen your device's browser. If you've not closed your browser in quite a while, you may notice a waiting update:

  1. On your PC, launch Chrome.
  2. At the upper right, check at More.
  3. If an update is waiting, the icon would be colored:

Green: An update was published less than 2 days ago.
Orange: An update was issued approximately 4 days ago.
Red: An update was published at about a week ago.

To upgrade Google Chrome:

  1. On your PC, launch Chrome.
  2. At the upper right, click More
  3. Click Update Google Chrome.

Essential: If you can't locate this option, you're on the newest version.
Click Relaunch

The browser remembers your opened tabs and windows and reopens them immediately when it resumes. Your Incognito windows won't resume when Chrome reloads. Unless you'd prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The very next time you resume your browser, this update would be implemented.

On Android:

Chrome will automatically update depending upon your Play Store settings. You may verify whether there's the latest version accessible:

  1. From any Android smartphone or tablet, launch the Play Store software Google Play.
  2. Just at the upper right, press the profile symbol.
  3. Choose Manage apps & device.
  4. Below "Updates available," locate Chrome.
  5. Next to Chrome, hit Update.

If you are on Chrome 76 or higher, you also can check for updates within your Chrome browser.

  1. On your Android smartphone, launch Chrome.
  2. At the top, hit More And then Update Chrome.
  3. Reload Chrome when asked.

 On Iphone:

Chrome should automatically update depending upon your App Store preferences. You may check whether there's the latest version accessible:

  1. On any iPhone or iPad, open the App Store.
  2. At the upper right, hit Profile.
  3. Scroll to the bottom to "Available Updates," then search for Chrome.
  4. If Chrome appears listed, hit Update for install.

If requested, input your Apple ID password. The updates will simply download.
